In a DX refrigeration system, the room is cooled directly by refrigerant in the cooling coil of the air-handling unit.
DX systems are used in many places depending on the application and the size of the space. Because there is no intermediate medium in the heat-transfer process, heat transfer is more efficient and cooling efficiency is higher.
